Congratulations! 
You have already made a very important decision in choosing each other to share your life with a commitment of love.  Now it is time to create the wedding ceremony that reflects your unique relationship.  

As your Officiant, Christine Milovani is dedicated to supporting you in creating a personalized and heartfelt ceremony. Outlined below are some of the services that you will receive when you choose Anam Cara Weddings to officiate your wedding.

Premarital Counseling and Stress Management:  
As a licensed professional, Christine can provide counseling and support to you as a couple.  Focus may be on increasing communication and conflict resolution skills, creating greater ease during planning for your life together, or discussing some challenges that you would like to resolve together.  Please inquire for information and pricing if you are interested.

Officiant Fee:
The cost of officiating a ceremony can vary due to location, size of wedding party, the length of your ceremony, and how involved the officiant needs to be in creating your ceremony. You have options to choose, ranging from $300 - $600.*

*Travel costs are separate.

Services included with your wedding ceremony:

  1. Phone Consultation and Contract
    Phone Consultation and Contract
    During our phone consultation, once you are interested in securing your officiant, we will review the terms of the contract. This will determine the Officiant fee and will include all of the items listed below, and any travel costs that may be incurred. This contract will be specific to your wedding and the time invested to support what you have requested. Everything will be outlined and easy to understand. Once the contract is agreed upon by all parties it can be signed and sent with the deposit. At this point we can schedule our first face to face meeting.

  2. Wedding Rehearsal
    Wedding Rehearsal
    For a smooth ceremony, it is helpful to have a rehearsal so that everyone knows their part in your special day. This is when we might learn what help is needed and how to coordinate all the moving parts for your wedding day. The reality of your wedding day emerges more clearly. This is fun and light-hearted and can usually take about one hour to review everything. There is one last check on the text of the actual ceremony, and a final copy will be printed that evening.

  3. Personalized Ceremony
    Personalized Ceremony
    Creating a personalized ceremony creates a heartfelt mood for everyone on your wedding day. Your officiant will listen to what is important to each of you and help create a ceremony that is meaningful to both. The ceremony can be formal or informal and can include spiritual or religious context that is appropriate for your relationship. The ceremony can also include special cultural or family traditions. Creating the ceremony is the most work that we invest together it produces a one of kind wedding for you.

  4. Face to Face Meeting
    Face to Face Meeting
    Meeting face to face helps your officiant to learn more about you as a couple. This is a time to share your story of how you came together and why you are choosing to get married. We will review some sample ceremonies and begin to create an understanding of what type of ceremony you are interested in having. You will leave with some homework to review sample text to create the unique template for your ceremony. Your officiant is available by phone and email to support this process, and if needed another face to face meeting.

  5. Marriage License
    Marriage License
    You will receive guidance and support to obtain your marriage license on time. On your wedding day the two witnesses you have chosen and your officiant will sign the marriage license to make your marriage legal in your state. Your officiant will mail it to the correct County of Clerk office for you immediately after the ceremony, and you can obtain a copy from the office once it is processed.

  6. Wedding Ceremony
    Wedding Ceremony
    Your special day is here! Your officiant will arrive 1-2 hours ahead of time to be sure that everything is prepared and running smoothly for the ceremony. She will officiate your ceremony and stay up to an hour after the ceremony to be sure the marriage certificate is signed. Additional support and coordination with wedding planner, family members and wedding party can be offered as arranged or requested. Once you have been declared married, it is time for celebration and congratulations!
